A curated lesson by Amanda with Dr. Stephen T Chang, author of the book, The Tao of Sexology.
I absolutely have to share with you what Dr. Chang teaches in this amazing book.
But first let me explain, Taoist sexology talks about the concept of male and female orgasms or shall we say masculine and feminine orgasms that correspond to their Yin Yang qualities but also the Taoists say both can be either the ordinary orgasm kind or the superior orgasm kind.
I love teaching about this subject with my male clients and lots of them have realised the benefits from holding ejaculation as a means to achieve this superior orgasm.
People seem to have become desensitised to sex, as sex is more and more available like fast food, an instant gratification in spite of the fact that more and more people feel unsatisfied with their sex life, experiencing feelings of emptiness after sex, men suffering from psychologic impotence from watching too much porn and ejaculating too much.
Ok maybe you are not into porn and love slow lovemaking and have had a good sex life, perhaps you only ejaculated a couple times a week or so still as you get older the level of energy you are loosing through the ejaculation is far more than the energy gained in lovemaking depending how long that lasted.
To maintain your vitality a man must only ejaculate twice the number of his age rounded up so if you are 20 years old its 2+2=4 so every 4 days you can ejaculate, so 30 is every 6 days 40 every 8 days 50 every 10 days and so forth.
What we want to do is, increase the time of lovemaking, holding back at least 5/6 times before ejaculating or refrain from it completely, lets say a 50 year old man can make love several times on several different days in the 10 days period of non ejaculation , he can even make love every single night as long as he abstains from ejaculation until the 10th day.
This way the energy that was gained through the lovemaking surpasses the energy thrown away by ejaculation so the body is rejuvenated and men not only report to feel more energised but also allows there man to be able to carry on lovemaking for hours as to satisfy completely his partner.
As Dr. Stephen T Chang says in his book The Tao of Sexology
“The male orgasm is analogous to the summit of a mountain. In trying to climb up to this summit, a man must exert him self physically and emotionally. He must maintain an erection; his prostate must function at 100% capacity; he must pump, sweat, endure tension, anxiety, and stress; and in the end he must lose a big portion of his nutrients, energy, and hormones. Immediately after reaching the summit, the man collapses and falls into a deep abyss of exhaustion and feelings of emptiness, depression, guilt, anger, or hunger. Also, the man will suffer from dry eyes and mouth, headaches, frequent urination, nervousness , weakness , and the loss of a huge portion of his youth . Once he ejaculates he will have difficulty producing another erection. So, according to an old saying, a living lion is reduced in a matter of seconds to a dead dog. After ejaculating, a man usually rolls over and falls asleep, leaving a woman stranded in a limbo halfway to heaven and halfway to earth. By following his physical instincts only , a man may not be able to take the woman beyond level four of the nine levels of a complete orgasm. The woman, unsatisfied, becomes resentful, angry, and frustrated.”
So you see why the going up the mountain this strenuous exercise that is focused on one end, one objective which is the Male orgasm, it happens like a bang, a quick burst of energy, while the Female orgasm or lovemaking style can be like going down the valley, the Taoist call it the valley orgasm, just think if you are going down the valley you actually have to hold yourself back as to not go so fast, you can enjoy the view and relax stop and start , while if you go up the mountain you are doing the exact opposite, you start to hyper breathe and precipitate your orgasm much much quicker, like a volcano erupting.
A valley (female) orgasm can last hours, same way a gourmet meal can satisfy you for hours while a fast food meal will burn fast due to lack of nutrients.
Why is it important to hold back ?
As Dr. Stephen T Chang explains in his book The Tao of Sexology
“The results of the holdbacks as given below are from the Su Nu Ching . The numbers given below contain abstract meanings and should not be taken seriously . The basic idea of the numbers is to encourage men to practice the Holdbacks. The more Holdbacks a man does, the better his health becomes. When the man holds back, he builds up the energy and nutrient levels in his body, thereby energising and nurturing his entire body.
Number of Holdbacks
1 - Benefits to the Body
2 - Strengthens and energizes the body . Strengthens the eyes and ears.
3 - Strengthens the immune system, increases the body's resistance, and retards the aging process.
4 - Strengthens and energizes the internal organs.
5 - Improves the circulatory system and prevents stroke and varicose veins.
6- Energizes the bones and prevents arthritis .
7 - Energizes and tones the muscular system Develops a strong aura.Heals all kinds of sickness.
8 - The man becomes completely psychic and very spiritual, since the pineal gland is fully energised.
(The Holdbacks can be used during masturbation to obtain the healing benefits, but it is more pleasurable and more beneficial to use them during sexual intercourse.)
The theory of healing behind the Holdbacks is based on the ability of the semen to nurture the body. Semen, like blood, is absolute yin-the passive, feminine energy of the body and the universe. Furthermore, semen and blood are the essence of the body . When semen is sent through the system, the whole body is restored. Eventually, the semen replaces the other cells of the body. That is a mystical phenomenon for which there is no explanation. The semen lasts forever-it can not even be burned.Buddhist monks in China use Holdbacks to pump their semina into their bodies, never losing them. When a monk dies. his body is cremated. Follow ing the cremation. the monk's followers collect the remaining semen. impacted into diamond-like stones or balls. called Relics. Light, flexible, and variable in shape, these Relics emit many coloured lights like a prism. The Relics are kept in beautiful vessels in a pagoda. These Relics emit pure energy, since flashes of light can be seen coming out of the pagoda at night. It should be pointed out that these are Buddhist monks, not Taoists. Unlike Buddhists , who deny the value of the physical body , Taoists value the body too much to bum it. Buddhists want to eliminate the body, believing that its existence causes much suffering and hinders the spirit. Eliminating the present body frees the soul so that it can reincarnate into better circumstances. From the Taoist viewpoint, this is the wrong approach. ''How can you be sure that the body you get in your next incarnation will be better than the one you already have? Why work and suffer for a lifetime and then bum your body in the end?" a Taoist will ask. Taoists are very practical. For them. the answer lies in perfecting and transforming the body to spiritualise or immortalise it, to uplift it from mundane concerns. “
So its true that holding back from ejaculation and frequent lovemaking or sexual stimulation is important for the maintenance of Chi energy in the body.
And this concept of men only having orgasms when they ejaculate is totally wrong.
Our society has been repressed for over 2000 years with the Catholic Church demonising women and sex being solely for the purposes of procreation, men were told that was the job and generation upon generation of men that believed that was the only way to have sex.
I hope this information has cleared your mind about how to achieve better orgasms and more satisfaction in your sex life.
